OTT Platform Netflix has revealed the second season of the courtroom drama Maamla Legal Hai, featuring Ravi Kishan in the leading role. The series debuted on OTT in 2024 and swiftly became a massive hit among viewers due to its unique combination of legal satire, endearing characters, and relatable desi humor.

Set within a local district court, the series showcased the comical misadventures of a team of underpaid and overworked lawyers. Advocate VD Tyagi, portrayed by Ravi Kishan, infused his grand courtroom flair into what could have easily turned into a dull legal drama. Here’s what we know about the show up to this point.

Maamla Legal Hai Season 2: Release Timeline

Netflix has confirmed that the filming of season 2 has already begun, and while the official date hasn’t been announced, rumors suggest that Season 2 might stream in mid to late 2025. Season 2 was announced with the caption, “Order Order! Tareekh milne wali hai, laughter ki. Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 is coming soon, only on Netflix!”

Maamla Legal Hai Season 2: Cast & Crew

Ravi Kishan will return as VD Tyagi, along with Naila Grewal as Ananya, and Nidhi Bisht as Sujata. Anant Joshi will play Vishwas, and adding to the excitement will be Bhojpuri Superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirhua in a special role. Internet sensation Kusha Kapila will also be seen in the show.

The series will be directed by Rahul Pandey and created by Sameer Saxena.

Maamla Legal Hai Season 2: Plot

Viewers can expect season 2 to maintain the same pattern as season one. It will introduce new episodes filled with bizarre cases and a healthy dose of chaos. The addition of Nirhua and Kusha Kapila to the cast will bring fresh energy and intrigue to the judicial drama. The first season had 8 episodes, and this one, too, might get 8-10 episodes.
