Mahindra seems to be working on exciting things. It has been almost a year since we have been hearing about launches like the Mahindra Vision S, which is said to be a sub 4-meter SUV from the brand or the Vision T, which is said to be the electric version of the Mahindra Thar. In a recent sighting, a YouTube channel going by the name of The Car Show spotted a whole convoy of Mahindra test cars which gave us a first look into some of the upcoming Mahindra cars under disguise. Let’s take a look at everything we know about these cars.

In the video, about 15 Mahindra test mules were spotted somewhere in Chandigarh, Punjab and it included everything from facelifted Mahindra Thar (two-door), to a new Bolero model, to even the highly anticipated Mahindra Vision S production model. Here is a breakdown of what we got based on these latest sightings.
1. Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift
The Mahindra Scorpio N is one of the best selling cars in India. Not only the best-selling SUV, but one of the top 10 best selling cars. While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, the silhouette gave it away. The test car was fitted with some makeshift lights, which according to our guess, is just a decoy.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to come with a fully digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch infotainment display, a fully digital driver’s display, and a panoramic sunroof. Along with that, we also expect enhanced off-roading features, and the inclusion of ADAS features for enhanced safety.
2. Mahindra Vision S (Upcoming Sub 4-Meter SUV)
The most hyped car in this convoy of test mules is probably the Mahindra Vision S, which is said to be a new sub 4-meter SUV from Mahindra. The Vision S has earlier been rumored to potentially carry the Scorpio nameplate (though not confirmed). This sub-4-meter SUV is designed to be a premium, rugged alternative in a crowded segment where the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, and the likes dominate the market.

The Mahindra Vision S is expected to come with a similar dashboard layout as some of the newer Mahindra cars like the XUV 7XO or the Mahindra XEV 9S. The spy shots also suggest a massive dual screen setup with similar 12.25-inch displays and the new Mahindra two spoke steering wheel. The upcoming Mahindra Vision S is expected to also include a 1.5 litre diesel engine along with a rear-wheel drive setup with an independent suspension. If true, this will be the only car to offer proper off-roading features in this segment.
3. Mahindra Thar Facelift

While the Thar was recently updated with new features and minor updates, a full facelift has also been teased with The Car Show YouTube video. The most major change visible here is the updated grille, which now looks similar to the Mahindra Thar Roxx. New features expected on the updated Mahindra Thar are new LED headlamps borrowed from the Thar Roxx, a new grille, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
4. Global Pick Up & Scorpio Classic Pick Up

Mahindra also seems to be doubling down on the pickup truck segment. The convoy featured the production-ready Global Pik Up, which is an upcoming pickup truck based on the Scorpio N platform. With that, the video also showed a Mahindra Scorpio Classic Pik Up, which is expected to be a pickup based on the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. This will be the successor to the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway. Primarily manufactured for export markets like Australia but potentially slated for a domestic launch.
5. Scorpio Classic Update
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic was also part of the group. While it remains largely unchanged on the outside, Mahindra appears to be tweaking its mechanicals or emissions equipment to ensure it remains a staple in the lineup for years to come.
6. Other Vehicles and Ongoing Testing
The massive convoy was rounded out by several other known models, including:
- XUV7XO: The recently updated version of the XUV700 was also part of the convoy. Probably in its last stages of testing before the rollout to new buyers and dealerships.
- Bolero & Bolero Neo: Standard testing for reliability or minor mechanical tweaks.
- Veero CV: Mahindra’s latest commercial vehicle offering, which could have been both – a support vehicle or was undergoing routine fleet testing.
These sightings confirm that Mahindra is planning a big 2026 for the local market. Between the high-tech updates to the Scorpio N and Thar, and the introduction of the Vision S and Global Pik Up, the brand is preparing to update its entire SUV and lifestyle pickup lineup.
