Major Leak Spoils Motorola Signature Days Before Launch with Complete Specifications Revealed

Renowned leaker Evan Blass has shared a full specification sheet for Motorola’s upcoming flagship, the Motorola Signature. According to the leaked sheet, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, based on a 3 nm node. RAM options include 12 GB and 16 GB LPDDR5X, while storage variants go from 256 GB to 1 TB using UFS 4.1. 

The display is a 6.8-inch “Extreme AMOLED” panel with a resolution of 2780 × 1264 pixels and a pixel density of 446 ppi. The refresh rate goes up to 165 Hz, and peak brightness is rated at 6,200 Nits. Display certifications include Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Pantone Validated Color, and full DCI-P3 coverage.

Motorola Signature

Battery capacity sits at 5,200 mAh using a silicon-carbon cell. For charging, there’s 90W TurboPower wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W wireless reverse charging, and 5W wired reverse charging.

The rear camera system uses 3X 50 MP sensors. The main camera is a Sony LYTIA 828 (1/1.4-inch) with f/1.6 aperture. The ultra-wide camera has a 12mm focal length with f/2 aperture and also handles macro shots. 

The telephoto camera uses a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor with 3X optical zoom and up to 100X digital “Super Zoom.” On the front, there is a 50 MP selfie camera using a Sony LYTIA 500 sensor with f/2 aperture.

In terms of build, the phone measures 162.1 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and weighs 186 grams. It uses an “aircraft-grade” aluminum frame and a textured rear finish inspired by linen or twill. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Durability ratings include IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD 810H certification.

For audio, there’s dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Sound handle audio by Bose branding. Hi-Res Audio support is also listed. There is no headphone jack or FM radio.

Connectivity features include 5G sub-6, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, USB 3.2 Type-C, and dual Nano SIM support. On the software side, the phone runs Android 16 and is promised up to 7 years of OS updates and security patches. Biometric options include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Motorola Signature Launch Date and Pricing Expectations in India

Motorola is expected to launch the Signature in India on January 7, 2026. Pricing is currently expected to fall between ₹60,000 and ₹70,000, although earlier rumors had suggested a lower starting point closer to ₹50,000. Final pricing and variant details should become clear at launch.
