Meta is also developing AI earphones with embedded cameras to complement this technology. However, testing on current Meta glasses shows that enabling the live AI feature reduces battery life to just 30 minutes, a challenge Meta aims to address before launch.

To support this technology, Meta has revised its privacy policies, allowing increased AI training with user data, which is quite concerning if you ask me. The company is reassessing safety risks to expedite the release, with a potential launch window later in 2025 or early 2026, though no exact date has been confirmed.
