Mi Notebook Ultra, Mi Notebook is official in India

Xiaomi has introduced new Mi Notebook Ultra and Mi Notebook Pro laptops in India at its Mi Smarter Living 2022 virtual event. The new laptops are blessed with new-gen Intel 11 chipsets, Intel Iris Graphics, and Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.

Mi Notebook Ultra, Mi Notebook Pro India price and availability

The Mi Notebook Ultra base variant Intel Core i5-11300H processor and 8GB RAM is priced at starts at Rs 59,999 onwards. The same machine with 16GB RAM is set to retail for Rs 63,999. Top of the line Mi Notebook Ultra laptop featuring Intel Core i7-11370H processor and 16GB RAM set to retail for Rs 76,999.

The Mi Notebook Pro, on the other hand, comes with an Intel Core i5-11300H processor and 8GB RAM is priced at Rs 56,999. A version with double RAM is being offered for Rs 59,999. The Mi Notebook Pro version with Intel Core i7-11370H processor and 16GB RAM will retail for Rs 72,999.

Both laptops are set to retail on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon, and other leading retail outlets starting August 31.

Mi Notebook Ultra Feature

Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook Ultra has a premium design featuring a slim 17.9mm chassis made of Aluminum. The Notebook Ultra is driven by 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors with up to Intel Core i7-11370H processor paired with up to 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. For graphics, it has integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.

The Notebook Ultra comes with a 15.6-inch display with a 3200×2000 pixel (aka 3.2K resolution) and 90Hz refresh rate. The display is an IPS offering 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut, as per Xiaomi claims. It has a 720p webcam with a 2D array dual-microphone set up for voice and video calls. The Mi Notebook Ultra comes with a backlit keyboard with 3 levels of brightness. It comes with a trackpad 62% larger than the one featured in Mi Notebook 14 series. As per the company, the Notebook Ultra keys have 1.5 mm travel and its trackpad supports Windows Precision Drivers.

It packs a 70WHr battery inside that claims to deliver up to 12 hours of battery life when 100 percent charged. It has 65W USB Type-C charging which can refill 50 percent battery in just 45 mins.

As for connectivity, the Ultra Notebook features a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB Type-C port, HDMI 1.4 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB 2.0. It also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 as wireless connectivity options. There is a physical fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello.

Mi Notebook Pro features

The Mi Notebook Pro aesthetics are similar to the Mi Notebook Ultra. It is 17.3mm thick and weighs 1.4Kgs. It has a smaller 14-inch 2.5K screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio 60Hz refresh rate. This one too claims 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage. It features a fingerprint biometric scanner and backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel which is less than Mi NoteBook Ultra.

Like its other sibling, It also comes with 11th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors inside along with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB NVMe SSD storage. It comes with a 56WHr battery that is rated to last up to 11 hours and has 65W fast charging support. The Mi Notebook Pro ships with Windows 10 Home preloaded and is likely to get a free upgrade to Windows 11 later this fall.

For connectivity, it includes 1x USB Type C port, 1x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.2, 1x HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6. The laptop has a 720p HD webcam.
