Moto G9 Plus with SD730G, 64MP quad cameras goes official

Motorola has unveiled the Moto G9 Plus with upgraded specs over the regular model. It has got a much powerful Snapdragon 730G processor, an FHD+ AMOLED frontier, larger internal storage, and a better camera setup. Those are some clear upsell over the Moto G9 (review), which launched in India earlier this month.

Moto G9 Plus Features

One of the underwhelming aspects of the vanilla G9 was the 720p display. Well, Moto has rectified it on the Plus as it sports a 6.8″ FHD+ AMOLED panel. Unlock using your face or finger and you get to experience the close to stock Android 10 software.

The processor is Snapdragon 730G which should bestow better gaming and everyday performance. The rest of the internals comprise of 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5000mAh battery. The box packs a 30W Turbocharger.

The optics stack by the back includes a 64MP main camera, followed by an 8MP ultrawide clicker, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP shooter.

Among other things, you also get a USB-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset comes in in Rose Gold and Indigo Blue colors.

Moto G9 Plus Features

Moto G9 Plus is currently released in Brazil for R$2.499,10. There is no mention of global (incl. India) availability or price as of now.
