Motorola enters the TWS segment with Moto Buds+ & Moto Buds: Checkout Price & Specs

Motorola has entered the wearable audio segment in the country. The brand has launched two TWS buds- Moto Buds, and Moto Buds+ that aim to disrupt the Indian TWS category with competitive pricing and top-notch features. Motorola has partnered with acclaimed audio brand Bose to develop high-end Plus TWS Buds that come with the segment’s 1st Sound by Bose certification. Both the buds come in Pantone-curated colors with IP54 and IPX4 water repellant design.

Commenting on the launch, a Motorola executive said, “The launch of Moto Buds and Moto Buds+ exemplifies Motorola’s commitment to deliver cutting edge technology and fostering innovation across the entire Motorola ecosystem….Together, Moto with Bose aims to set new standards for audio excellence and elevate the listening experience for customers.”

Moto Buds & Moto Buds+: Price & Availability

The Moto Buds+ are priced at Rs. 9999. These will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 7999 including bank offers. It will come in Forest Grey and Beach Sand shades.

The Moto Buds are priced at Rs. 4999. These will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 3999 including bank offers. These Buds will come in Starlight Blue, Glacier Blue, Kiwi Green, and Coral Peach hues.

The Buds will go on sale from May 15th at 12 PM IST via Motorola.in and Flipkart.

Moto Buds Plus: Features

Moto Buds+ are equipped with dual dynamic drivers including an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. The Buds have a triple microphone system with Environmental Noise Cancellation and Hi-Res audio certification. The Moto Buds+ comes with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking technology. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Each bud offers 8 hours of playback time with ANC off while with the case, we get 38 hours of playback time on a single charge. The case supports wired as well as wireless charging and takes 60 minutes to charge in wired mode and 110 minutes in wireless mode. Quick charging offers 10 minutes of charge for 3 hours of playback time. Active Noise Cancellation up to 46dB allows an immersive audio experience. Additional features include adaptive noise cancellation, transparency mode, and a water-repellant design.

The dimensions of the charging case are 59.87×48.97×24.84mm and it weighs 42.8 grams which doesn’t feel bulky in your pocket.

Moto Buds: Features

Moto Buds are equipped with single 12.4mm dynamic drivers and come with triple microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation. The Buds come with Hi-Res audio certification and support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Each bud offers up to 9 hours of playback time on a single charge while the case offers 42 hours of playback time. It takes 90 minutes to charge the case from 0 to 100% and 10 minutes of quick charging offers 2 hours of playback time.

Active Noise Cancellation is available up to 50dB of noise while additional features include transparency mode, adaptive noise cancellation, water-repellant design, and more. The dimensions of the case are 59.99×48.98×24.26mm and it weighs merely 36 grams.
