Motorola has launched the next in the Edge Series, Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India today. It is the flagship offering that comes with a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, 4600mAh battery, wireless charging, OLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and more. With Motorola Edge 50 Pro, the company aims to give tough competition to the likes of the OnePlus Nord CE 4, iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and others.

In today’s article, we decided to compare the OnePlus Nord CE 4 with Motorola Edge 50 Pro to try to find out which one is better.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Vs. OnePlus Nord CE4: Design

Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes in three color variants- Black, Lavender, and Pearl. While black and lavender are made from vegan leather, the Pearl version is claimed to be made in Italy by Castiglione-based Mazzucchelli. It has a sleek and lightweight design that doesn’t attract smudges. It comes with an IP68 rating for underwater protection.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 has an interesting marble-inspired design. It has mainly a polycarbonate build. The backside is glossy and smooth, and the camera module is even more glossier. It comes in two shades- Green and Gray. The smartphone is not particularly thick or lightweight, as it is 8.4mm thick and weighs 186 grams.

OnePlus Nord CE4 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1100 nits brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a wet touch capability, which means it worked well even when it was wet. The visuals produced are detailed and vibrant.

Meanwhile, Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.7-inch OLED panel with Dolby Vision, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, 2000 nits brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate. It is also a curved display which makes the experience better. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protects this one.

OnePlus Nord CE4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 740 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 256GB onboard storage.

A Qualcomm chipset also powers Motorola Edge 50 Pro, that is, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, along with Adreno 720 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

The chipset, as well as GPU on both these phones, are the same, and they perform similarly.

OnePlus Nord CE4, as well as Motorola Edge 50 Pro run the latest Android 14 OS. While the OnePlus Nord CE4 runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14, the Moto Edge 50 Pro runs Hello UI based on Android 14.

Like all Motorola devices, the Moto Edge 50 Pro offers a bloatware-free, clean UI experience. However, the OnePlus Nord CE4 is bloatware, and some pre-installed apps can be removed as well. Otherwise, the UI is simple, user-friendly, and colorful.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a dual camera setup at the back including a 50MP wide angle and a 13MP ultrawide-angle sensor. There is a 50MP camera at the front. The main features of the camera include 30x hybrid zoom and Adaptive stabilization, which adjusts itself according to the scene.
