Motorola Moto G24 Power Launched in India starting at Rs. 8999

Leading tech giant Motorola has added a new entry-level smartphone to its G-Series franchise. The Moto G24 Power has gone official in the country sporting a premium design, massive battery, and Android 14 experience.

Commenting on the launch of the Moto G24, Mr. T.M. Narasimhan. MD, Mobile Business Group, India said, “We are delighted to announce the latest addition to our g series franchise- the Moto G24 power. Through our g series smartphone experiences, we democratize smartphone experiences by offering advanced features at affordable price points, catering to the growing demands of the Indian mobile phone consumer. This smartphone boasts a premium design and a massive battery along with other class-leading features that allow users to experience sophistication and functionality seamlessly at more accessible price points, making it idle for consumers who are constantly on the move.”

Motorola Moto G24 Power: Price & Availability

The Motorola Moto G24 is available in 2 storage configurations-

  • 4GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 8999 (effective price- Rs. 8249)
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 9999 (effective price- Rs. 9249)

There will be benefits worth Rs. 4500 from Reliance Jio applicable on pre-paid plan of Rs. 399. It will include cashback and partner coupons.

It will go on sale on Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores starting February 7, 2024. There will be two color options available- Ink Blue and Glacier Blue.

Motorola Moto G24: Design

The Moto G24 features a streamlined camera module and the overall aesthetics of the device offer it a stunning yet functional look. The device is slim with a thickness of 8.99mm and weighs 197 grams which doesn’t make it feel bulky in hand. It comes with an IP52 rating for being water-repellant.

Motorola Moto G24: Specifications

Moto G24 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 1TB. It sports a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

At the back is a 50MP Quad Pixel camera that comes with modes like night vision, portrait, live filters, panorama, pro, burst, and digital zoom up to 4x. At the front is a 16MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.45 for video calls and selfies. Under the hood, the Moto G24 packs a massive 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging adapter inside the box. It runs Android 14 with 3 years of security updates, and features like flash notifications, health connect, data sharing, pin security, and much more.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, a USB-Type-C port, WiFi 802.11,  dual-band WiFi, GPS, GLONASS, and more.
