Nokia, the legendary Finnish brand has been picking up steam under the umbrella of HMD global. This time the company has gone all the way with 5 cameras on Nokia 9 all targeted at improving lowlight performance. Apart from the outrageous take on cameras, let’s get to know other features it has to offer.

Nokia 9 PureView: The Exciting Part

The “Duh” part to be excited about this phone would be its 5 cameras. Like other Nokia smartphones, this one is also powered by Zeiss optics. The cameras along with the flash and TOF sensor are arranged like a pentagon. Out of the lot, you get three 12MP monochrome cameras, two 12MP RGB cameras, all with f/1.8 aperture.

The Nokia 9’s optics would gather data for HDR and depth based photography. This phone is a reality thanks to Nokia’s partnership with Light, a company that brought us the 16-camera L16 phone.

Nokia 9 PureView: Rest of the phone

Its powered by Android One, more specifically Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Nokia has a good track record in terms of updates. The phone launched in 2019 depends on a dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. This is coupled with 128 GB onboard storage and 6 GB of RAM. A 3,320 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support keeps the lights on. You could refuel it wirelessly too.
