A new leak from Digital Chat Station (DCS) reveals the specs of the OnePlus Ace 5, which will likely debut globally as the OnePlus 13R, given the naming pattern of the OnePlus Ace 3 as the OnePlus 12R. According to the leak, the OnePlus 13R will sport a square-ish camera module on the left side.

The OnePlus 13R will feature a 6.78” 1.5K-resolution micro-curved display. It will use an 8T circuit LTPO OLED panel. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, similar to the OnePlus 12.

It will come with a large 6,200 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging. This is in-line with the move from all Chinese manufacturers to a larger battery. For cameras, it will have a 50 MP main sensor and a triple camera setup.

The triple camera setup could include an ultra-wide lens and a 2 MP macro lens or depth sensor. This is just an assumption since DCS didn’t mention the existence of a telephoto lens. And of course, the OnePlus 13R will also retain the alert slider.

Since the OnePlus 12R was launched on January 23, 2024, it won’t be wrong to assume that the OnePlus 13R will debut in December 2024 or January 2025. However, given the competitive market, a December 2024 launch seems more probable.
