The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has launched its latest Android flagship in the Indian market: the OnePlus 15. This is the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphone that is available in India. Even beyond that, the handset features top-tier specifications, including a 165Hz AMOLED display, a gigantic 7,300 mAh battery, and a triple-camera setup.

- OnePlus 15 (12GB + 256GB): Rs. 72,999; available in Infinite Black, Sand Storm, Ultra Violet
- OnePlus 15 (16GB + 512GB): Rs. 79,999; Infinite Black, Sand Storm
Buyers can avail themselves of a Rs. 4,000 discount via the HDFC Bank offer, reducing the effective price of the base model to Rs. 68,999 and the top model to Rs. 75,999.

The OnePlus 15 features a punch-hole screen on the front, with minimal bezels on all sides, giving the phone a contemporary look. On the back, the phone features a square-shaped body-colored camera module with rounded edges and three blacked-out housings inside, giving it a distinct look.
Regarding materials, the phone uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, an aluminum alloy frame, and Gorilla Glass 7i on the back.

OnePlus 15: Specifications & Key Features

First up, the OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen that supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, a pixel density of 450 ppi, and a peak brightness of 1,800 (HBM). The phone comes with a new feature called Sun Display technology, which enhances legibility under direct sunlight. Additional display-related features include Eye Comfort for Gaming and Motion Cues.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 features the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with two 4.6GHz prime cores, the Adreno 840 GPU, the G2 Wi-Fi chip, and a dedicated Touch Response chip that supports the higher refresh rate. The chipset is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 360 Cyro-Velocity Cooling System that includes a 5,731-square-mm vapour chamber.
Out of the box, the OnePlus 15 runs on OxygenOS 16, which is based on Android 16. While we’ve already reviewed the operating system in a dedicated article, it includes a number of AI-based features, including Google’s Gemini AI integration, Plus Mind, AI Recorder, AI Portrait Glow, and AI PlayLab.

Regarding optics, the OnePlus 15 features a triple-rear-facing camera system, details of which are given below.

Powering the handset is a 7,300 mAh battery that supports 120W SuperVOOC wired charging (charging the phone takes around 39 minutes) and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v6.0, GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.
