OnePlus launches 55U1 4K TV, 43Y1 FHD TV and 32Y1 HD Ready TV in India

OnePlus 2020 TV line up is out. The company has announced the three new Smart TVs: 55-inch U1 and more affordable Y series in 43-inch and 32-inch screen sizes. While the U1 supports 4K resolution, the 43Y1 TV comes with Full HD screen and the smaller 32Y1 has only HD resolution.

OnePlus TV 55 U1 Features and Specs

The biggest announcement during today’s live stream was the OnePlus TV55 U1 4K TV. The 55-inch Smart TV has an IPS LED panel that supports 4K resolution. The TV claims to follow a minimalistic design language offering a 6.9mm sleek body and an almost bezel-less front. During the launch presentation, the company chose to address it as OnePlus Cinematic Display. It comes with HDR 10 Support, Gamma Engine, and Dolby Vision certified. OnePlus claims its 55-inch U1 TV can deliver a 93-percent DCI P3 color gamut for a cinematic experience.

The OnePlus TV 55 U1 includes 2 full-range speakers and 2 Tweeter delivering 30W sound. The TV speakers also support Dolby Atmos. It has 9 picture modes including Eyes Protection, Vivid, Cinema Home AI, Sports mode and other. The TV comes running on latest Android TV with OnePlus’ own additions like Oxygen Play, Shared Album, and OnePlus Connect app. Now the Connect app is also compatible with iPhones.

OnePlus has also added Kids Mode where parents can set timers, and give apps permissions. There’s also a new Data Saver Plus option where it allows users to control data consumption.

43Y1 and 32Y1 Series: Features and Specs

Oneplus also introduced a budget Y series with 43-Inch and 32-inch TVs. The Y series TVs also claim to deliver 93 percent DCI -P3 Color gamut coverage. 32-inch OnePlus Y1 Smart TV has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels (HD-Ready) while the 43-inch Y1 OnePlus TV has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels (full-HD). The Y series Smart TVs run on Android TV platform with Google Play Store support. These OnePlus TVs also include Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube for online streaming.

Both 43Y1 and 32Y1 TVs include two 10W speakers with Dolby Audio support. They also support features like Virtual surround, and dialogue enhances for the better audio experience.

OnePlus 55U1 Price In India

The OnePlus 55-inch U1 TV has been priced at Rs 49,999 in India. The Y series is targeted at the masses and comes at affordable prices. The 43Y1 TV with FHD panel is priced at Rs 22,999 while the 32Y1 HD Ready TV is priced at Rs 12,999. All these OnePlus TVs will be available on both online and offline stores. These TVs will go on sale from July 5th onwards.
