IMC visitors can enjoy graphics-intensive games over the cloud on the Snapdragon-powered OnePlus 7 Pro 5G smartphones. This live demo opportunity provided at the Qualcomm Technologies booth and is possible due to Hatch’s cloud gaming app and 5G network offered by Ericsson.

Marking the collaboration, Rajen Vagadia, Vice President & President Qualcomm India & SAARC, shared, “Our work with OnePlus has always been founded on a shared vision for technology innovation, pushing boundaries for the best mobile experiences. Qualcomm Technologies led R&D efforts to make 5G a reality and delivered products to make 5G-capable devices commercially available one year ahead of schedule, working across networks and infrastructure. A prime example today of how 5G will revolutionize consumer experiences is by supporting the low latency required for next-gen mobile cloud gaming. We are extremely proud to host OnePlus and Hatch at IMC to showcase the real-world capabilities that 5G offers in creating unparalleled gaming opportunities and seamless and more captivating gaming experience for users.”

So, Ericson’s network is where users can easily access the games through the cloud server, without undergoing any hassle of downloading. On the other hand, Hatch is the cloud gaming service provider. OnePlus is employing Hatch’s smartphone-based games streaming platform.
