OnePlus 7 Pro with curved-edge display allegedly surfaces on the web

One after the other, we have had lots of OnePlus case renders and rumors lately. We also know the company is all invested in the 5G development and so, expecting a OnePlus 5G phone soon. The pro variant of the OnePlus 7 has surfaced on social networking platform wiebo. The latest images of OnePlus 7 Pro’s “About Phone” section of settings corroborate the expectations.

The two images that floated on Weibo not only show the device in all its glory but also reveal some interesting specs details. Straight off the gate, the model number of the device, i.e  GM1915 piques our curiosity. Traditionally, OnePlus, ever since the days of OnePlus One has followed an A-lettered model denomination. Now, as the device deviates from this pattern, the tech community anticipates a newer branch of phones equipped with 5G.

The “About Section” also highlights the important internals such as Snapdragon 855 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The cameras could bear 48MP, 16MP, and 8MP sensors.

Curved-edge display could inflate the price

Further, the facade might feature a 6.67-inch Super Optic display. Interestingly the display has curved side edges, and if such a screen indeed makes it to the 7, it should be accompanied by a steep increase in price.

Unlocking the phone you’ll be welcomed by Oxygen OS based on Android 9 with a 9.5.1 GM31CB build number.

The puzzling part is how the said section shows an image of the OnePlus 6T to the left, raising questions about the legitimacy of the leaks. However, it could also be unfinished software. Since its all revolving in the rumor mill, we would still suggest you take them with a pinch of salt and wait till the official release.
