Oneplus 9RT goes official with ColorOS 12 & 65W Fast Charging

Oneplus has added a new smartphone named Oneplus 9RT in its portfolio in China. It is said to be an enhanced version of the Oneplus 9R. The 9RT highlights include Snapdragon 888 chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate. Although no announcement has been made regarding 9RT’s India launch, it is expected to launch in India soon.

Oneplus 9RT Price & Availability

Oneplus 9RT will be available in China in 3 storage variants-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB internal storage- CNY 3299 (Rs. 38,500)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB internal storage- CNY 3499 (Rs. 40,900)
  • 12GB RAM+ 256GB internal storage- CNY 3799 (Rs. 44,400)

Customers can choose between black, silver, and blue color options.

Oneplus 9RT Specs

The Oneplus 9RT features a 6.62-inch E4 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. It supports HDR10+ and has a 600Hz touch sampling response. Oneplus 9RT is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with a RAM of 12GB and 256GB storage. 9RT is the first Oneplus device to come with Oppo’s new ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 in China. Rumors are rife that Oneplus 9RT will launch with the same OS  in India too.

The design of the Oneplus 9RT is similar to that of the Oneplus 9. Corner punch hole camera on the display and slim bezels are present all around it. The rear panel is made of glass and has a matt finish. It houses a rectangular camera module. There is no physical fingerprint sensor, but an in-display one with the Alert Slider is also available.

In the camera department, Oneplus 9RT 5G has a triple camera system. The triple camera setup includes a 50MP IMX766 primary camera with OIS and EIS support, 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP front camera too for selfies and videos. The camera app on the smartphone comes bundled with modes like a super night scene, macro photography, intelligent scene recognition, portrait mode, professional mode, and panorama mode.

The device packs a 4500mAh battery under the hood with warp charge 65T 65W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Other features include Face recognition unlock, Front screen fill light, and backlight mode.
