OnePlus Confirms Turbo 6 Series Ahead of January Launch, Big Battery and High Refresh Rates Teased

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has confirmed two smartphones for its upcoming Turbo series: the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the OnePlus Turbo 6V. Most recently, an Android Headlines report gave us our first look at what was likely the Turbo 6V.

OnePlus Confirms Turbo 6 Lineup

Now, the brand has confirmed that the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V will be available in three finishes. The Turbo 6 should be powered with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the Turbo 6V should feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC.

Remember the rumored OnePlus smartphone that was supposed to feature a 9,000 mAh battery? It will be one of the Turbo handsets featuring a large battery cell. A teaser video from OnePlus also mentions a 165Hz refresh rate for the Turbo 6, while the Turbo 6V could feature a 144Hz refresh rate.

In China, the OnePlus Turbo 6 and the Turbo 6V will launch on January 8, 2026. Why the phone is gathering so much attention is that OnePlus could spin it as a Nord iteration in the Indian and global markets (including the United States).
