The Nord Buds 3r are equipped with 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers for deep bass. You can customize the sound using the Sound Master EQ, either by selecting one of the three presets or by adjusting the sound to your preference with the six-band equalizer. The earbuds support OnePlus 3D Audio, but it only works with OnePlus’ recent flagships and mid-range smartphones.

Additional features include AI Translation for real-time language support, Tap 2 Take (double-tap to capture photos on the phone camera), Aqua Touch for intuitive touch controls, and Find My Earbuds to locate them when misplaced (plays a loud sound on the earbuds). For connectivity, the earbuds rely on Bluetooth v5.4 (with SBC and AAC codecs supported).

Other connectivity-related features include 47ms low-latency mode, dual-device connection, and Google Fast Pair for Android devices. Regarding battery life, the earbuds claim to last up to 54 hours on a single charge, which includes 12 hours with a single earbud. Further, they feature a USB-C charging port (without a cable in the box). OnePlus also claims that the battery maintains performance even after 1,000 charging cycles.
