The OPPO A5 Pro 5G has been introduced in India as a new smartphone aimed at the general public by the Chinese manufacturer. OPPO has highlighted that the device is equipped with IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications, making it particularly suitable for riders who wear gloves. Additionally, the OPPO A5 Pro features outdoor and glove modes, allowing users to operate the display even while their fingers are gloved.

Oppo A5 Pro: Price & Availability
Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be available in two storage configurations-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 17,999
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 19,999
It will come in Mocha Brown and Feather Blue shades and retail via Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo India Store starting today.
Customers can avail up to Rs. 1500 cashback and enjoy up to 6 months of no-cost EMI with credit cards from SBI, IDFC First, BOB Financial, Federal Bank and DBS. A zero downpayment scheme is also available.

Oppo A5 Pro: Design & Features
Oppo A5 Pro 5G features the A-Series ultra-slim and lightweight design with a thickness of 7.76mm and a weight of 194 grams. The Mocha Brown and Feather Blue models have a unique texture on the back. For durability, Oppo A5 Pro is IP66+IP68+IP69 rated and has been vigorously tested against 14 Military Standard conditions, making it MIL-STD-810H rated.
At the front, it boasts of a 120Hz Ultra Bright Display with 1000 nits brightness for outdoor visibility. Oppo A5 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and features Oppo’s 48-month Fluency Protection for seamless experience.
Under the hood, it packs a 5800mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging that can juice up to 30% in just 19 minutes. In terms of photography, Oppo A5 Pro 5G gets a 50MP main sensor, and 2MP portrait sensor at the back while there is also an 8MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls. AI Features include AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clarity Enhancer, and AI Reflection Remover for making photos better.

Oppo is claiming to offer superior connectivity for Indian consumers with A5 Pro 5G. The device is equipped with AI LinkBoost 2.0 featuring a 360 degree Surround Antenna for strong signal even in areas like elevators and underground parking lots. For a comfortable gaming experience, the smartphone gets an advanced VC Cooling System featuring 1100 mm2 graphite and thermal gel that keeps the device cool even during intense gaming sessions.
Oppo has even packed some AI features for students and professionals. These include the AI-powered Documents App, including AI Summary and AI Rewrite, while AI Toolbox includes Screen Translator, AI Writer, AI Reply, and AI Recording Summary.
