Oppo ColorOS 13 to debut globally on August 18

It’s official. ColorOS 13 is making its debut on August 18 globally. As per the ColorOS Global Twitter handle, the launch event will be on August 18 at 12:00 BST, 7:00 EDT, or 16:30 IST as this is a global launch. As said, the ColorOS 13 is based on Android 13 making it future-ready. Here’s more information about the ColorOS 13, its features, and the list of eligible Oppo smartphones.

ColorOS 13 Features

If you want to know what’s new with the ColorOS 13, there’s a lot that will be disclosed at the launch event. For now, we know that it will be available on Android 13 sharing the underlying privacy and security features, however, as usual, Oppo has added some additional features. Luckily, the ColorOS 13 will get an impressive degree of customization options just like Google’s Material You on Android 13.

Oppo ColorOS 13 will incorporate some smart features enabling the UI to adapt to big displays along with better interconnectivity between multiple devices resulting in improved efficiency and productivity.

ColorOS 13 Eligible Oppo Smartphones

Well, there’s no official list of all the Oppo smartphones that are eligible for ColorOS 13 yet, but we do know a handful of them. The users with Oppo Find X5, Find X5 Pro and Find N living in France, China, Australia, Indonesia, UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, UAE, or Vietnam can apply for the ColorOS 13 beta available now even before the stable version is released on August 18th.
