Oppo introduced the Find X8 Series in China and India during the latter part of 2024. This series currently features two models: the Oppo Find X8 and the Oppo Find X8 Pro. The company has also announced that the high-end Oppo Find X8 Ultra is set to launch in 2025. Growing rumors suggest that the Find X8 Ultra may not be the only addition to the Find X Series in 2025. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo is also planning to release the Oppo Find X8 Mini, which aims to deliver a flagship experience in a more compact form factor. Some specifications of the Oppo Find X8 Mini have been revealed by the tipster, providing insights into the device’s features.

Oppo Find X8 Mini: Rumored Specs
DGC claims that the Find X8 Mini will flaunt a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen which is similar to the Vivo X200 Mini that is exclusive to the Chinese market at the moment. The Find X8 Mini is also expected to focus on camera performance. The Mini model is expected to have a premium camera sensor from Sony’s IMX9 series and also retain the 50MP periscope zoom camera found in larger models.
In terms of design, the Find X8 Mini is expected to have a metal frame and glass back, a combination of durability and sleek build. A recent listing also confirmed that the Find X8 Mini will have a 5000mAh battery, despite its compact design.
The Oppo Find X8 Mini might be launched alongside the Oppo Find X8 Ultra in the first half of 2025. It isn’t clear if Find X8 Mini will come to India or not, but the global launch might take place in March or April 2025. The Tipster even claims that Oppo has plans to launch a Find X8x model, but the timeline for this one isn’t clear yet.

To recapitulate, Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro were announced in India with a starting price of Rs. 69,999 and Rs. 99,999 respectively. The smartphones come with Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. Oppo Find X8 has a 5630mAh battery while Find X8 Pro packs a 5910mAh battery, both supporting 50W wireless and 80W wired fast charging. The series is IP68+IP69 rated and also offers 10W reverse wireless charging.
