TL; DR
- Find X9 Ultra has cleared BIS certification, which means the India launch is close.
- China launch is set for April 20, global rollout (including India) soon after.
- Specs include dual 200 MP cameras, 10X optical zoom, 7050 mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
OPPO’s Find X9 Ultra has now received BIS certification in India, which basically confirms that the device is ready for the Indian market. This usually happens just before launch, and with the China launch already set for April 20, 2026, the timing lines up for a near-immediate global rollout. India is expected to be part of that first wave, with availability likely starting sometime in early May.

This is also the first time OPPO is planning to take its Ultra model global from the start, instead of keeping it limited to China. That alone makes this launch a bit different compared to previous Find Ultra devices.
OPPO Find X9 Ultra Specifications

On the hardware side, this is shaping up to be a full spec-heavy flagship. You’re looking at a 6.82-inch 2K BOE X3 LTPO OLED panel with 144 Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The battery is a big one at 7,050 mAh, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other details include ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, IP68/IP69 rating, Quick Button, Snap Key, ColorOS 16.1, and a body measuring 8.91 mm thickness and 243 grams of weight.
The main story though is the camera system. OPPO is going with a quad-camera setup co-developed with Hasselblad, and all sensors are getting upgrades. The primary camera is a 200 MP Sony LYT-901 (1/1.12-inch, f/1.4).

The periscope telephoto is also 200 MP (OmniVision OV52A, 1/1.28-inch, f/2.2) with 3X optical zoom and 15 cm minimum focus distance. There’s a second telephoto using a 50 MP Samsung JN5 (f/3.5) for 10X zoom, and the ultrawide is a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 (1/1.95-inch, f/2.0). There’s also a 5 MP multispectral sensor included.

OPPO is also planning a bigger launch event around this (at least in China). Alongside the Find X9 Ultra, the company is expected to announce Find X9s Pro, X9s Pro+, Enco Clip 2, Watch X3 Mini, Pad 5 Pro, Pad Mini, and the K15 Pro series.
With BIS now cleared and the launch date locked in, the India release is basically right around the corner. Pricing and final availability details should be announced closer to the event. Are you excited for the launch? Let me know in the comments section below.
