TL; DR
- OPPO Find X9s is tipped to be a smaller flagship with a 6.3 inch 1.5K flat OLED and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
- Two 200 MP cameras using Samsung’s HP5 sensor for both main and periscope telephoto.
- 7,000 mAh battery, wireless charging, IP68 or IP69, MediaTek Dimensity 9500+, launch expected March 2026 with India likely on the list.
Late December leaks from Digital Chat Station (in Chinese) outline OPPO’s next compact flagship. The Find X9s will be a more compact and lighter entry in the OPPO Find X9 series, likely positioned below the Find X9 (review) but without stepping out of premium territory.
The phone will feature a 6.3 inch flat OLED at 1.5K resolution with LTPS tech. It will also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor instead of an optical unit like the X8s.
For the cameras, the X9s is said to feature two 200 MP sensors, both expected to be Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 (1/1.56-inch). One HP5 will serve as the primary wide camera. The other will sit in a periscope telephoto module, just like the Find X9 Pro (review). I assume the telephoto lens will be the 65mm f/2.6 with a 25 cm minimum focus distance, but we will have to wait for confirmation.

The battery is said to be a massive 7,000+ mAh unit, with wireless charging support confirmed. Charging wattage has not been specified but we can expect it to be 80W. Full water protection appears in the leaks, likely IP68 or IP69. The chipset mentioned is MediaTek Dimensity 9500+.
Several leaks and rumors suggest a planned launch in March 2026 in China. Some leaks also indicate that a release in India is possible, although nothing is confirmed. The OPPO Find X9s appears to target users who want a smaller device with great camera hardware and a large battery. More accurate details should appear closer to the launch window.
