TL; DR
  • The Velvet Red Find X9 arrives in India as a new colour option.
  • It is priced at ₹74,999 and drops to ₹67,499 with bank offers.
  • I personally think this is the best looking colour in the lineup.

OPPO has added a new Velvet Red colourway to the Find X9 in India after strong consumer demand. This variant arrives just ten days after the Find X9 Series made its India debut on 18 November, and the early response has already crossed three times the previous Find generation in the first week, as per OPPO.

Find X9

The Velvet Red model is available only in the 12 GB + 256 GB configuration. The official price is ₹74,999, with sales beginning on 8 December across the OPPO India e store, Flipkart and authorised retail outlets.

With bank offers, the effective price drops to ₹67,499 along with additional exchange bonuses. Personally, I think Velvet Red is the best colour option in the Find X9 lineup because it just looks so good.

OPPO introduced the new shade to meet the growing interest in more expressive flagship designs. Velvet Red joins Titanium Grey and Space Black and keeps the same build quality, hardware and balanced in hand feel.

The Find X9 includes a 7,025 mAh silicon carbon battery, paired with 80W SUPERVOOC charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The display uses an ultra slim 1.15 mm bezel for a more expansive view.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and uses Hasselblad co-developed imaging with the LUMO Image Engine for consistent colour accuracy and improved low light performance. As for the software, it runs on ColorOS 16, with 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.

The Find X9 features a triple camera setup on the rear, led by the 50 MP Sony LYT-808 main camera, a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 50 MP Sony LYT600 3X periscope camera. On the front is a 32 MP selfie camera. All the cameras can record in 4K60 with Dolby Vision.

If you are planning on purchasing the Find X9, you can avail several launch offers. These include up to 10% instant cashback on the OPPO e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and mainline retail using select bank cards. No cost EMI is available for up to 24 months, and an exchange bonus is available through Cashify and Servify.

You’ll also receive a Black Gold Gift Box worth ₹5198 that includes OPPO Enco Buds3 Pro Plus and a premium case for the Velvet Red edition (and the other colors too). The series also includes a 180 day hardware defect replacement promise, three months of Google Gemini Pro access and Jio benefits worth ₹ 2250 on eligible plans. Jio users aged 18 to 25 get eighteen months of Gemini Pro access at no extra cost.
