OPPO has been developing ColorOS 12 for several months. The company first released an Android 12 beta build for the Find X3 Pro shortly after Google released its first Android 12 beta at I/O 2021. However, that build did not include ColorOS 12. The company showed us some preview wallpapers of ColorOS 12 early last month.

Following the official unveiling, the company showed off all the visual enhancements and new features included in the software in China. OPPO has also just released the first ColorOS 12 beta update for the Find X3 Pro following Google’s announcement of Android 12.
