POCO kicked off 2024 with the launch of the POCO X6 Pro, which did well for the company. Now, the company has confirmed the launch of the long-rumored POCO F6. POCO is gearing up to unveil the POCO F6 on May 23rd at 4:30 PM IST, exclusively on Flipkart.

The teaser poster and landing page resemble the POCO F6 and the Redmi Turbo 3. The design cues are unmistakably similar, confirming the long-rumored speculation. It’s technically confirmed that the POCO F6 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which recently made waves in China.

It has been confirmed that the POCO F6 will come equipped with a 50 MP OIS camera. This is further supported by the fact that the same text can be found on the back of the Redmi Turbo 3. As a result, we can now safely assume that the POCO F6 will have the following specifications:

Redmi Turbo 3 Specs
  • 6.67-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
  • LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage
  • 50 MP Sony LYT600 OIS + 8 MP IMX355 ultra-wide
  • 20 MP Omnivision OV20B selfie camera
  • 5000 mAh battery & 90W fast charging
  • IP64 Rating
  • HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14

In terms of pricing, the POCO F6 is expected to hit the market at around INR 30,000. This positioning places it slightly above the POCO X6 Pro, which debuted a few months earlier.

The POCO F6’s launch timing puts it directly against competitors like the Realme GT 6T, scheduled to launch the day before, and the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4, slated for release in the same month. With fierce competition on the horizon, the sub-35K segment in India will be really exciting.
