Poco M4 Pro 5G to launch by Early November; India launch to follow soon after

Most of the China-based companies don’t launch their smartphone series with the number 4 because the number is considered unlucky in the country. But now it seems that Poco is all set to launch Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone in the upcoming months. Several leaks suggest that the company will launch M4 Pro 5G in the last week of October, following which the India launch could take place sometime in November. Poco M4 Pro 5G is a successor to Poco’s M3 Pro which launched in May this year.

Poco M4 Pro 5G Leaks and Expected Specs

A few days ago, Leakster Abhishek Yadav and Kacper Skrzypek revealed the phone being spotted on various listings. According to reports, it comes with a model number of 21091116AG and will have a 33W fast charging feature as well as a MediaTek processor. It was also discovered on the IMEI database by tipster Mukul Sharma which suggests that the testing has begun and the device will launch soon. Although no other details have been revealed about the device, it is expected to have 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and will be priced around Rs. 15,990.

Poco M3 Pro which launched in May 2021, had a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD, 90Hz refresh rate, and a punch hole cut-out for the 8MP selfie camera. It had a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The device packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with an 18W fast charger and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and up to 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card. It has 2 storage variants in India-

  • 6GB RAM +128GB storage- Rs. 16,499
