PUBG lovers…we have some good news for you. Pre-Registrations for the PUBG New State have now gone live in India as announced by its maker Krafton. The game is available to pre-register on android as well as the Apple store. PUBG New State is a brand-new battle royale game from Krafton that is said to be quite similar to the original PUBG Mobile. The game is set in the year 2051 and sees 100 players fighting until one remains to become the ‘winner’. It promises to have ultra-realistic graphics and dynamic gunplay. It is expected to bring new maps, weapons, and vehicles along with a change in the environment.

PUBG New State: Pre-register and Download Links

Anyone wishing to pre-register for the game has to go to the Google Play Store on an Android device or Apple App store on iPhones to look for PUBG New State. Click on the Pre-Register button and you will be done. The users who pre-register will receive notification about the launch of the game and the game will automatically install whenever it launches for the pre-registered users.

PUBG fans who pre-register are likely to receive exclusive benefits, including a limited vehicle skin. According to Krafton, Android users will need to have at least 2GB RAM and Android 6.0 or more whereas iOS users will need a minimum of iOS 13.0 or higher along with iPhone6S or later.

Now the biggest question in everyone’s mind is whether PUBG New State will have to face a ban again? The question is pertinent as PUBG Mobile was banned in India back in September 2020 following which Krafton worked on an India-Specific version of the game for months. The game was renamed Battlegrounds Mobile India and made available for android users in July 2021 and iOS users in August 2021.

This could be the reason that while the announcement of PUBG New State was made in February, but it was not expected to be launched in India at all. Krafton in a press statement has said that it is bringing New State to India after seeing the interest of Indian fans. “Knowing that PUBG IP from Krafton is enjoying countrywide popularity in India and our Indian fans have high interest in the launch of PUBG New State in India, we at PUBG Studios are doing our best to offer a battle royale experience only we can deliver based on the stable service for our Indian fans,” Krafton said.

Although earlier there were delays in relaunching PUBG as the Ministry of Electronics and Broadcasting had some data privacy concerns and did not want the use of the word PUBG in the game’s name which led to its renaming to ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ but now since Krafton is officially going back to the original name of the popular battle royal franchise, it only means that the company has clarified any alleged privacy concerns that were the reasons behind the earlier ban on the game. Though any confirmed date for PUBG New State to launch in India is not out yet, Google Play Store expects it to be 8 October 2021. More details about its launch are still awaited.
