Realme India CEO Madhav Seth has teased a new 55-inch smart TV on his twitter handle. The teaser image of the TV box does reveal a few key aspects of the TV including a mention of ‘SLED 4K’. That’s right, it will be a SLED 4K panel.

What is SLED?

It a new display technology co-developed by Realme and John Rooymans, chief scientist of SPD Technology (Spectral Power Distribution). Unlike the traditional LEDs and QLEDs, SLED is backed by SPD technology for TV blacklight. A SLED panel uses Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) LED lights for accurate colors and also reduces harmful blue light.
