Realme is hard bent on launching phones at a breakneck pace. Today, the brand brought out the 6 series. The company claims that its product portfolio has been redefined. By the virtue of it, Realme 6 is apparently the new Pro and not a successor of Realme 5. With that in perspective, let’s unfurl what they bring forth.

BTW, the Realme Band also sees the day. We got a hint about the upcoming #realTV.

So as Salman Khan would say, the Realme 6 phones and the band says, Swagat Toh Karo Hamara!

Realme 6 Features

The face is now a 6.5-inch 90Hz panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio, FHD resolution and protection by Gorilla Glass 3.

Meet eye to the punch hole on the left or touch on the side-mounted scanner and there you have the Android 10 skinned with Realme UI. Out of the box and out and out nice (Speaking from XP)!

This is layered over a capable spec fam. The inside comprises of MediaTek Helio G90T, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. There are things such as DRM L1 support, microSD expansion unto 256GB, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi.

Coming to cameras, you get a 16MP (Samsung sensor) solo and a 64MP (Samsung GW1) Quad Cam at the back. The quartet also finds home to an 8MP ultrawide snapper, 2MP macro (in a 4cm range) and a 2MP mono (for portraits). You can max the zoom up to 10X Digitally. You get to record videos at 1080p (60fps), 1080p@120fps slow-mo and 4K (30fps).

All these and the phone weighs 191 grams. A part of this is borne by 4300mAh battery within. It is 30W fast charging supported.

Let’s have a look at the Pro now.

Realme 6, Realme 6 Pro launched in India

Realme 6 Pro: What’s Pro about it?

A slightly varied design’ography, which is apparent from the dual punch-hole on the front. That’s a Sony/IMX471 16MP sensor with an 8MP secondary sensor for an ultrawide view. A thoughtful feature indeed!

The overall display is a tad big by an inch (6.6″) to be exact.

Unlock and you get the same software flare but upon a Snapdragon 720G silicon. The memory configuration remains the same.
