Realme 9 4G and 5G Launch Imminent; Key details revealed

Realme 9 Pro series launched in India a couple of days ago and it seems like the Chinese OEM wants to bank on the series. We are talking about the upcoming Realme 9 4G and 5G that will be released in India soon. A lot of rumors and reports have popped up about the vanilla variant but there’s always new information to discover. Cut to now, color variants for the 4G variant along with a certification from Thailand Telecom have appeared online.

Realme 9 4G Color Options & Certification

Talking about the color options that the upcoming Realme 9 4G will arrive at, it will be called Stargaze White, Sunburst Gold, and Meteor Black. Apart from that, the device will arrive in two storage variants i.e. 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB if the reports are to be believed.

The Realme 9 4G has been spotted on Thailand Telecom as well. The model likely carries model number RMX3521 and it has already been spotted on BIS, EMT, EEC, FCC, Camera FV-5 as well.

Realme 9 4G Expected Specifications

Based on the FCC certification, Realme 9 4G is likely to pack in a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. The device will also get a 33W fast charging tech. There’s Bluetooth, NFC, dual SIM, and dual-band Wi-Fi among others.

Realme 9 4G is likely to pack in a 48MP primary shooter with EIS, 1/4“ sensor size along with a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.5 aperture.

For context, the Realme 9 4G is identical to Realme 8 4G in many ways. This includes the battery capacity, charging speed, selfie camera, among others.

Realme 9 5G Expected Specifications

According to a separate report, Realme 9 5G is likely to arrive with a 144Hz refresh rate. A marketing image that the folks at 91Mobiels got their hands on shows ‘7-speed Leapfrog Variable Speed HRR‘. Since Realme 9 5G is a budegt smartphone, it is unlikely to get an OLED panel and would resort to an IPS LCD panel. Previous rumors suggest 6GB+128GB storage, 5000 mAh battery, and a Dimensity 810 5G SoC under the hood.
