Realme 9 series gets two new phones – the Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 Speed Edition. With this launch, these phones will join the Realme9 Pro+ and Realme 9 Pro in under the number series. Both newcomers are driven by 5G chipsets with seamless 4G to 5G switching features.
Realme 9 5G, Realme 9 5G SE price in India, availability
Realme is offering both phones in different RAM and ROM combinations. The Realme 9 5G starts at 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant which is priced at Rs. 14,999. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 17,499.
Meanwhile, Realme 9 5G SE starts with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model which is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the, while the 8GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 22,999.
Realme has partnered with ICICI Bank and SBI Bank Credit card to offer a Rs 2000 instant discount on credit card and credit card EMI transactions. Both phones will go on sale from March 14 via Flipkart. Realme e-store and retail stores.
Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE Specs
Both the phones have a unique design element to them, Realme 9 5G comes ripple holographic design inspired by the texture of changing sand dunes, claims Realme. The 9 5G Speed Edition employs an all-new starlight design, in line with the younger generation’s attitude of daring to shine.
Both phones have an 8.5mm side profile but the Speed edition weighs about 199g while the vanilla edition weighs just188g. Both the phones are also equipped with a 3-card slot for two SIM cards and one SD card (up to 1TB).
The new Realme 9 5G comes up with a Dimensity 810 chipset coupled with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It adopts a 6.5-inch 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and maximum 180Hz sampling rate, visual needs.
The Realme 9 5G Speed Edition, on the other hand, features a 6.6-inch 144Hz refresh rate and a maximum 240Hz sampling rate. Realme 9 5G Speed Edition is Realme’s first smartphone with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The display comes with 2412*1080 FHD+ resolution, up to 240Hz touch sample rate, 600 nits in High brightness mode.
The Realme 9 5G Speed Edition is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 6nm processor.
Both the phones boast a 48MP Triple Camera system. While the main sensor is a 48MP sensor with F1.8 aperture, along with an unspecified monochrome portrait sensor and a macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture lenses.
Also, the 16MP Ultra-clear front camera satisfies your verified selfie needs with F2.1 aperture, supporting smart beauty mode, Bokeh Effect, etc.
