Realme Confirms the India Launch of the 13 Pro Series: Likely to pack 5500mAh battery

Tech giant Realme has confirmed the India launch of its upcoming 13 Pro Series. The Realme 13 Pro Series will come with AI camera features and include two devices- Realme 13 Pro 5G and Realme 13 Pro Plus 5G. The series is the successor to the Realme 12 Pro Series which was launched in January 2024. Realme 13 Pro+ has also been spotted on the FCC Certification website which confirms some details about the smartphone.

Realme 13 Pro Series: India Launch

Realme has confirmed that the 13 Pro Series will be coming to India soon. Although the company has not announced the date of the launch according to the brand, it will be the “First Professional AI Camera Phone” by Realme. The Realme 13 Pro Series is expected to include two smartphones- Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus, similar to predecessors Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus.

The announcement falls in line with what Realme said at the GT 6 launch that the Realme 13 Pro Number Series will see the arrival of AI in the photography department. Realme has shared a teaser image via X account that shows a camera module positioned in the top center along with the text “HYPERIMAGE 4”.

Realme 13 Pro Plus: Details revealed

As mentioned earlier, Realme 13 Pro+ has also been spotted on FCC listing. It shows up as an unnamed Realme phone with model number RMX3921. The listing confirms a 5500mAh battery and Android 14 OS for the upcoming Realme smartphone (most likely to be Realme 13 Pro Plus 5G). The charger model is listed with model number VCB80AUH, 80 might mean 80W SUPERVOOC charger. Realme 12 Pro+ came with a 67W charger.

Realme 13 Pro+ is likely to weigh 190 grams compared to its successor that weighed 196 grams. The dimensions of Realme 13 Pro+ are listed as 161.34×73.91×8.23mm which means it will be narrower and thinner than Realme 12 Pro+ (161.5x74x8.8mm).

Realme 12 pro plus 5G

Reports claim that the Realme 13 Pro+ will be the first to feature a Sony IMX882 3X periscope lens which is a 1/1.953-inch sensor. It will be a 50MP main camera just like Realme 12 Pro+. The upcoming Pro Plus smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 7s gen 3 SoC.

More details will be unveiled as the launch date becomes official.
