After much await Realme GT 5G series is coming to India this month. The Realme GT 5G India launch date is set for August 18. Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has revealed his brand’s new falgship phone launch date during the latest episode of AskMadhav AMA session on youtube. The brand is likely to launch the Realme GT 5G and the Realme GT Master Edition smartphones on August 18.
Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition India price (expected)
Most likely Realme will revealing official pricing on August 18 but Madhav has dropped hits at different platfroms that the Realme GT Series price in India will start close to Rs 30,000. Of couse, that’s for the base varaint, better specced versions will cost even more. Back in China, the Realme GT 5G debuted in June with starting price is set at CNY 2,799, which translates to roughly Rs 31,400.
Realme GT 5G highlights
The Realme GT 5G gets to flaunt a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. For flagship grade performance Realme has deputed Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset inside which is argubally the market leading SoC (in performance terms) in android space.
Thew SD 888 is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, along with support for a microSD card. Optics wise, the Realme GT 5G rear camera module includes a 64-megapixel Sony sensor, an 8MP camera, and a 2MP sensor on the back. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera fitted in punch-hole in the top left corner of the screen.
the phone is aided by a 4500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging right of the box. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack alongwith Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo speakers and Hi-Res Audio support.

Realme GT Master Edition highlights
The Realme GT Master Edition features the same screen as the velinlla edition. It packs a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
What set the Realme GT Master Edition apart from Realme GT is the System on Chip inside. The Master Edition is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. While the opitcs are same, it lacks stereo speakers and packs a comparatively smaller 4300mAh battery that, too, charges at up to 65W.
