A couple of days ago, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer realme unveiled the P3 series, comprising the vanilla P3 5G and the P3 Ultra. Today, the brand has commenced the sales of the more affordable smartphone of the two: the realme P3 5G.

Available in Space Silver, Comet Gray, and Nebula Pink, the realme P3 5G is available from Flipkart and realme’s official website, starting from 12 PM IST. Unlike other smartphones, the phone will only remain on sale until March 28, 12 AM IST.

During the first sale of the realme P3 5G, the brand is offering a Rs. 2,000 instant discount using bank discounts, bringing down the effective price of the base model to Rs. 14,999 and the top model to Rs. 17,999.

realme P3 5G Key Specifications And Features

Out of the box, the phone flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED Esports display (120Hz, 2000 nits peak brightness) with Pro-XDR high dynamic display support. Under the hood, the phone runs on the capable Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 (4nm) SoC, which offers decent performance in the segment. The phone promises 90fps on the popular battle royrale video game, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).

Regarding optics, the phone features a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) primary camera and a 16MP (f/2.4) front camera, providing optical image stabilization. The device allows users to record 4K30 videos (among 1080p and 720p options).

Powering the phone is a 6,000 mAh Si/C battery (that supports 45W wired charging), which the brand markets as the “largest energy-density graphite battery in its segment.” The battery, as claimed by the brand, can retain over 80% of its maximum capacity after 1400 charge cycles, which instills some confidence in its endurance.

Connectivity options on the realme P3 5G include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Moreover, the handset looks like a decent offering in the segment, especially with the introductory offers in place.
