TL; DR
- realme is set to unveil a set of innovations at MWC 2025.
- The company will reveal 2 new AI features—AI Video Eraser and AI Voice-based Retoucher.
- Alongside these AI features, realme will also showcase its new concept phone with a 1” type sensor and 10x optical zoom.
realme is gearing up for a big splash at MWC 2025, kicking off March 2 in Barcelona. The brand has been dropping teaser left and right, and if they are anything to go by, realme is bringing some serious tech to the table. Just recently, the company has teased an AI video eraser and a voice-based AI photo editor.
AI Video Eraser

First up, there’s the AI Video Eraser. According to realme, this will let you “refine your videos like never before.” We have been able to remove people and objects from photos for a while now but doing that same thing in videos is incredibly difficult as you are dealing with no less than 24 frames every second.
Being able to remove people or objects from videos with just a tap would be something truly game-changing. realme would be the first smartphone brand to achieve this.

AI Voice-based Retoucher

Then there’s the AI Voice-based Retoucher, another new feature realme’s flaunting on its social media. While this is not as innovative as the AI video eraser, it’s still also an incredible feature that might be worth it.
Voice commands could slash editing time, making photo edits feel less like a chore. realme is definitely betting big on AI to “simplify” creativity, and, I’m sure, these tools might just steal the show at MWC.

realme’s Ultra Flagship Camera Phone

But the real head-turner in my opinion is still going to be the concept phone from realme. Word around the tech campfire is that realme’s unveiling an “Ultra” device with a 1-inch exposed sensor and a 73–234 mm external lens, echoing the bonkers Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept from a few years back.
That Xiaomi beast let you slap on a full-on Leica lens, and realme’s take seems to follow suit—a massive Sony 1-inch sensor paired with a telephoto rocking 10X optical zoom (likely 73 mm to 234 mm).

It’s likely a proof-of-concept rather than a store-shelf product, but this “new” idea of “DSLR-level photography” on a phone is simply amazing. Sample shots shared online show creamy bokeh and sharp details at 234 mm with an f/2.0 aperture.
realme is also launching the realme 14 Pro series globally at MWC, but this concept—possibly dubbed the GT 7 Ultra—could overshadow it… heavily. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments section below.
