realme Watch 5 renders and specs surface with Apple Watch Ultra-inspired look

realme is preparing to bring back its mainline smartwatch series after almost three years of silence. The last in the lineup was the Watch 3, released in 2022. The brand skipped a Watch 4 completely, moving straight to the Watch 5. The leaked renders show the device is lined up for a global release, with an India launch still unconfirmed.

The Watch 5 features a square, rugged design that strongly resembles the Apple Watch Ultra, complete with big side buttons and a boxy frame. Color options spotted so far include black and silver. Outdoor-focused features include an onboard compass and independent GPS with five GNSS systems, enabling real-time sports tracking without carrying a phone.

The smartwatch uses a 1.97-inch AMOLED display at 390 x 450 resolution, peaking at 600 Nits brightness. It will feature over 300 watch faces to choose from. Powering it is a 460 mAh battery that claims 14 days of normal usage and up to 20 days in “Light Smart Mode,” with a promised five-year battery lifespan.

Connectivity is covered with Bluetooth calling, an independent Bluetooth intercom for quick calls without a phone, and NFC for card access and payments. It also supports IP68 water and dust resistance and includes a dedicated “game-specific mode.”
