Realme X7 and the Realme X7 Pro will be next flagship smartphones that will go official in India sometime in September. Realme has teased its upcoming X7 series through a teaser posted on Weibo.

The Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro both will be 5G phones. The teaser poster revealed the front of the phone featuring a 120Hz display. Interestingly, it will be an AMOLED screen. Previously, the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom (review) both had 120Hz LCD screen, therefore, the Realme X7 series will be the first set of phones from the company with 120Hz AMOLED display.

The teaser shared by the company also has a mention of 5G which means the X7 series will join X50 Pro as Realme phones with 5G cellular network support.

Other teasers posted on the Chinese microblogging site also dropped hits like the presence of curved side edges of the display and hole-punch for a selfie camera.

The Realme X7 series launch announcement will take place in China at 2 PM (11:30 am IST) on September 1. However, Realme is yet to disclose global launch details.

One of the posters had text that, as per Google translate, reads “thin and light flash charging flagship.” This could very well be a hint at 125W UltaDART charging that was announced recently. It is also possible that only the X7 Pro gets to flaunt it while the vanilla variant remains content with 65W fast charging.

More details related to the Realme X7 series are expected to surface as we inch closer to the September 1 launch.
