Realme X7, X7 Pro 5G Phones Go Official

Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro are now official in China. Both of these are 5G smartphones packed with high-end hardware such as MediaTek Dimensity chipset, AMOLED display, 64MP quad-camera setup, and 65W super-fast charging. Realme has priced both these phones aggressively under Rs 30,000.

Realme X7 Pro: Highlights & Features

Realme X7 Pro brings in a new AG-Split design with a colorful gradient. The rear panel of the phone has the company’s name and tagline. Despite being a 5G phone, the X7 Pro is just 8.4mm thick and weighs 184 grams.

The Realme X7 Pro features a 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch response rate. As per the brand, the display on the X7 Pro covers 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. The display comes with an embedded in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole cutout on the front.

The Realme X7 Pro is driven by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It claims to house a five-fold heat dissipation system featuring a large vapor chamber, copper foils, thin graphite sheets, and several other materials. This is likely to keep the phone cool during gaming to prevent any throttling.

Like all recently announced Realme Phone, the X7 Pro also comes running on Android 10-based Realme UI software.

Optic-wise, the Realme X7 Pro has a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor led quad-camera setup at the back. Apart from a 64MP sensor, one will find an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 199-degree FOV, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s a punch-hole cutout on the front housing a 32MP selfie camera.

The phone draws juice from a 4,500mAh battery. Realme is offering a 65W SuperDart charger with the phone which fully refills the battery in just around 35 minutes. As for connectivity, there’s a 3.5mm headphone and supports for Wi-Fi 6, dual-mode 5G, and Bluetooth 5.0.

Realme X7: Highlights & Features

There’s also a non-Pro version with several differences. One of the biggest differences easily noticeable is in display The Realme X7 boasts of a slightly smaller 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a regular 60Hz refresh rate. The Vanilla Realme X7 slimmer than X7 Pro and has a slightly less powerful chipset.

Just like the Realme X7 Pro, its trimmed down version also rocks a MediaTek SoC. The Realme X7 is powered by aDimensity 800U chipset which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Optics remains the same as the Realme X7 Pro. With a smaller footprint, the Realme X7 also houses a smaller 4300mAh battery. It too ships with a 65W SuperDart charger which takes around 30 minutes to fully refill its battery. It has support for Wi-Fi 6, dual-mode 5G, and Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Realme X7 Pro, X7 Price and Availability

The Realme X7 6GB+128GB base variant has been priced at CNY 1,799 (approx Rs 19,200) whereas the 8GB+128GB version of the X7 Pro has been priced at CNY 2,399 (approx Rs 25,600). It will go on sale in China from September 1 onwards.

The Realme X7 Pro 6GB+128GB, on the other hand, has been priced at CNY 2,199 (approx Rs 23,500) whereas 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 26,700) and CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 34,200) respectively. It will go on sale starting from September 7th onwards.
