Redmi 11 Prime 5G set to debut in India on September 6; 4G counterpart will also launch

Redmi 11 Prime 5G is launching in India on September 6 along with other Redmi products. The company made this announcement right after launching Xiaomi Smart TV X Series and Xiaomi NoteBook Pro 120G in the country. The brand is organizing the Redmi 11 Prime launch event under its program ‘Diwali With Mi’ banner.

Xiaomi alongside the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, the company will also be launching a 4G sibling from the same platform. If rumours are to be believed the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is going to be a revamped version of Chinese Redmi Note 11E 5G. The Chinese Redmi Note 11E 4G model could rebadge from Poco M5 4G scheduled to debut in India on September 5.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G Features (Revealed & Expected)

Redmi 11 Prime 5G is going to be the most economical 5G smartphone from a brand wielding on MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC topped with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. The phone will be home to a 5000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging capability.

The Redmi 11 Prime will sport a 6.58-inch LCD 90Hz display with reasonably thin bezels on the front. It will have a waterdrop notch comprising a 5MP selfie shooter. The back camera will include a 50MP primary and a 2MP secondary snapper.

Redmi 11 Prime 4G Expected Features

If the company go for remodelling the Redmi 11 Prime from Poco M5, it will be powered by the budget-grade MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, Other features could include a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple rear cameras, and 5000mAh battery.

All these speculations will be put to rest on September 6 when Xiaomi will launch the Redmi 11 Prime series in the country. Since the company is gearing up for upcoming Diwali celebrations, the phones could go on sale during the festive season.
