Xiaomi India has confirmed the launch of the Redmi note 12 Pro+ in India. The smartphone will be the first Redmi phone in the country to feature a 200MP primary camera at the back. The launch has been confirmed to take place on the 5th of January 2023. The company has confirmed the same via some teaser posters that it has circulated on Twitter. Not only, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, but the Redmi Note 12 Series is also expected to include Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro devices when it comes to India.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus India launch date confirmed but what about its specs & features?
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with up to 12GB RAM. There will be a 200MP primary sensor at the back along with 3 other lenses, while the front will get a 16MP selfie lens. It is claimed to pack a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. If we consider the china pricing, the Redmi Note 12 pro+ might have a starting price of under 25,000.
Fewer Models for Redmi Note 12 Series
CMO Anuj Sharma on Friday, thanked the Xiaomi fans and family for their amazing response throughout 8 years of the company’s journey as the Note Series crossed 200 million phones shipped in India. He confirmed the Xiaomi 12 Series in India and also explained that the brand will now focus on launching “fewer models” of the Redmi Note Series in the future. The Redmi Note 12 Series is coming to India on January 5th, 2023.
Although Redmi will not launch as many Note devices as in the past, but it claims to bring each Redmi Note device “Standing tall in its segment.” Previously the brand launched around 6-7 models in Redmi Note 10 and Note 11 line-ups so this time, we might see 3-4 devices that will be a part of the Redmi Note 12 Series. Anuj Sharma’s post confirms that at least 3 Note 12 Models will launch on the 5th of January- Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Improved MIUI Experience
Redmi always keeps asking for feedback from the Xiaomi fan community about the MIUI experience and this time the company has promised to remove the UI-related monetization, swapping subsidies for a better experience, and quality.
