Redmi 9A Sport & Redmi 9i Sport smartphones launched in India; Price & Availability

Xiaomi has quietly unveiled two new budget smartphones in India today. These two smartphones – Redmi 9A Sport and Redmi 9i Sport are made for the affordable buying segment and come in three different colors.

Redmi 9A Sport and 9i Sport -Price and Availability

Redmi 9A Sport price in India starts at Rs. 6999 (2GB RAM+32GB storage) and goes up to Rs. 7999 (3GB RAM+32GB storage). Similarly, the Redmi 9i Sport is also offered in two configurations. The base variant featuring 4GB RAM+64GB storage is priced at Rs. 8799 while its 128GB ROM version set to retail for Rs. 9299

Redmi 9A Sport and 9i Sport in 3 Colors

Both these smartphones are available in 3 colors- Carbon Black, Coral Green, and Metallic Blue. They have gone on sale today at noon on Amazon and Flipkart. These smartphones will also be available on Mi.com.

Redmi 9A Sport and 9i Sport Specs

Both these smartphones come with a 6.53-inch HD+IPS LCD and a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels that offer up to 400 nits brightness. They have been certified by TUV Rheinland. Both the smartphones have a waterdrop notch for a 5MP front camera and a single 13MP primary camera sensor with LED flash. 9A and 9i Sport feature MediaTek Helio G25 chipset with a 5000mAh battery and 10W fast charging support.

They have AI Face Unlock with a P2i coating for splash resistance. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The only difference is in the RAM and storage. While Redmi 9A Sport has up to 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage, Redmi 9i Sport can have up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity. Each of them measures 9mm in thickness and weighs around 194g.
