Telecom Operator Jio has become the first network provider to cover almost the entire Delhi-NCR region with its 5G networks. Jio is deploying stand alone 5G network which will be available for select members only. The major announcement was posted by Reliance Industries Limited on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange).

Jio 5G in Delhi-NCR

Jio has confirmed that its 5G services are now available in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and other major locations of Delhi-NCR. Its networks would be present across most residential areas, government buildings, schools, colleges, universities, malls, markets, high streets, hotels, restaurants, tourist spots, tech parks, roads, highways, metros, and more.

Confirming the news, a spokesperson from Jio said, “Covering the majority of the National Capital and NCR region is a matter of pride for us. Jio is expanding its True 5G reach at a rapid pace and has already rolled out a large portion of the planned True 5G network in the area. It is the only operator to be present across the entire Delhi-NCR region with True 5G services. The reason Jio engineers are working round the clock to deliver True 5G to every Indian is because of the transformational power of this technology and the exponential benefits it can deliver to every citizen”
