Samsung has already confirmed the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17, 2024, where the Korean tech giant will reveal the Galaxy S24 series. However, apart from the flagship smartphone, the company also has a mid-range in its pipeline. We’re talking about the Galaxy A55 5G that can appear soon. Most recently, a publication has leaked the phone’s high-quality renders, which suggests that the phone is nearing launch.

In a report, the publication Android Headlines shared the design renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. The renders showcase the smartphone in three colors: pink, light blue, and black. Visible in the renders is the placement of all the design elements of the handset.

For instance, the front panel has a punch-hole display with symmetrical bezels on three sides and a slightly thicker bezel on the bottom. On the rear panel, we can see three individually placed camera sensors, much like on the Galaxy S23 series. The right frame contains the power and volume buttons on a slightly elevated island that stems from the phone’s metallic frame. The frame’s left side appears clear.

Galaxy A55 5G Leaked Specifications

In the past, the phone has been tipped to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ sAMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone could run on Exynos 1480 SoC paired with Xclipse 530 GPU. Regarding optics, the handset is said to carry a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. To power the device, Samsung could equip a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging.

Last but not least, users might also get an IP67 water and dust resistance rating. The Galaxy A55 5G could launch sometime in February or March 2024. However, the company hasn’t confirmed these details, so readers should take it with a pinch of salt.
