Samsung Galaxy Book 3 laptop series makes its way through the Galaxy Unpacked Event 2023

In Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, the brand unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S23 series alongside the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 laptop lineup. The series consists of three laptops, including – Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Out of the mentioned three, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is the high-end variant that ships with features like 13th Gen Intel core processors, Windows 11 operating system, high power charging capacity, and a lot more. Here we will tell you about the specifications, features, pricing, and availability of all three laptops that Samsung introduced at the event.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 laptop series pricing and availability

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro will be available in the international market for a price of $1,219 (Rs 99,099) and the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will be available for $1,299 (Rs 1,06,466). On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will be available in the market at a starting price of $2,399 (Rs 1,96,623). The sale of the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro lineup will start on February 17 and the sale of the high end variant, Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will start on February 22, 2023, in selected markets.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro lineup specifications

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro lineup, both laptops will ship with a 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, and a 16:10 ratio. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro will have two display variants, including 14-inch and 16-inch, while the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will have a lone 16-inch variant.

As for the specifications, the base variant will be powered by the Intel 13th Gen Core i7 SoC, and the mid-level variant will have the Intel 13th Gen Core i9 processor. The RAM options offered by Samsung are 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB LPDDR5, paired with the storage options like 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB SSD storage. Both devices will sport the Intel Iris XE graphics processing unit (GPU).

In terms of camera, both the laptops will flaunt an FHD 1080p webcam and a studio-quality Dual Mic for amazing audio input. On top of that, the gadgets will feature Dolby Atmos support, Smart Amp, and AKG Quad speakers for audio output. One of the most noteworthy highlights of the same is that they support connectivity options like 5G Sub6, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.1.

Not only this, but the people who go for purchasing the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will also get the Samsung S Pen in the box. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro’s 14-inch variant will get a 63Wh battery, and the 16-inch variant will get a 76Wh battery. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will be powered by a 76Wh battery. All three variants will support 65W USB Type-C fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 ultra specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra flaunts a 16-inch 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The device will have two variants on the basis of the processor – one with 13th Gen Intel Core i9 SoC and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and the other one with 13th Gen Intel Core i7 SoC complemented with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU. One of the major highlight of the laptop is the unrivaled Galaxy connected experience that allows one to use Galaxy tablet as an additional monitor. The same features will also support multi-control, phone linking, and Expert RAW and Auto Share.

The Book 3 Ultra will also have an FHD 1080p webcam and studio-quality audio mic, similar to the other two variants. For the purpose of enhanced audio output, the machine brings AKG Quad Speakers. In terms of RAM and storage options, Samsung offers 16GB RAM with a 512GB internal storage variant and 32GB RAM with a 1TB internal storage variant. The device draws power from a 76Wh battery that supports 100W USB Type-C fast charging.
