Yesterday, we reported about Samsung launching a new laptop in the Edge Series. Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge was launched in the US and some other countries. It is the first laptop by Samsung that comes with advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities. Samsung has loaded the Galaxy Book4 Edge with some of the Galaxy AI features seen on the Galaxy S24 Series.
The laptop is powered by a Snapdragon X Elite processor which features a powerful NPU offering up to 45 tera operations per second of AI inferencing performance making it a good chipset for AI performance. The laptop also runs a new version of Windows 11 that has been optimized for ARM64-based processors.

Here is the list of all the Artificial Intelligence Features on Galaxy Book4 Edge
1. Circle To Search
With the Link to Windows capability, users can mirror their Galaxy phone’s screen and use Circle to Search. It is a part of the Galaxy AI suite available on the Galaxy S24.

2. Recall
A recall feature has been provided on all Co-Pilot+ PCs. It allows users to search for anything they did on the Galaxy Book4 Edge using queries in their natural language. They can look for recently created documents, emails, or videos.
3. A dedicated key for Windows Co-Pilot
The users of Galaxy Book4 Edge can use a dedicated button/key to bring up Windows Co-Pilot. It can answer questions, bring information from the web, and recommend the next course of action to solve any issues.

4. AI-Powered Live Captions with Live Translations
The laptop can create captions while playing audio and video and convert them into the language of their choice.
5. Windows Studio Effects during video calls
The powerful NPU we talked about helps the laptop support real-time camera effects during video calls. These include background blur, background replacement, focus adjustment, and camera filters.
6. Cocreator in Paint
It is a new version of the Paint application that allows users to turn simple sketches into professional art. They can set how much AI they want in their picture.

These AI features are available on some other laptops/PCs as well. However, due to the strong NPU unit, power consumed on Galaxy Book4 Edge is a fraction of what is consumed on others.
