Both the sets of buds in the series are expected to come with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro will support Samsung’s SmartThings Find capability. The TWS are expected to come in white and silver hues. A report by Android Headlines also claims that the Pro model might get a two-way speaker and come with adaptive noise control, blade lights, and ambient sound. The vanilla mode won’t get any of these smart features and have a one-way speaker only.

The battery life on Galaxy Buds 3 is also expected to get a boost as it is tipped to be up to five hours with ANC on and up to six hours with ANC off. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is tipped to get up to six hours of battery life with ANC on and up to seven with ANC off.

The total playback time for Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is expected to be around 30 hours while the base model will offer around 24 hours of playback time on a single charge. The difference in playback time indicates that the sizes of charging cases will also be different. Speculations are rife that the Galaxy Buds 3 will get a 500mAh case while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will get a 515mAh battery.

Talking about the design, the pro model is tipped to get a design overhaul this time. Reports claim that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will feature an AirPods stem-style design. Reliable tipster Evan Blass claims that the brand is planning to drop a bean-shaped design and give the buds a complete overhaul this time. AirPods have elongated stem shapes for a stable touchpad region to make on-device controls better. The same is being done for Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro this time.

A heavily obscured image of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has surfaced online that indicates AI features are also being incorporated into the buds. A larger battery and ANC will also be improved.

It is being done to reduce the bulk of the earbuds and increase the comfort of the wearer along with making it a better fit. The design will also improve the call quality as mics will be placed towards the end of the stems.

It is still unclear if the base version will also have this design or if it will be unique to the pro model only.
