Samsung launches Two New M-Series Smartphones in India priced Under 15k

Leading smartphone manufacturer Samsung has confirmed that it will launch three new A-Series smartphones in India on 2nd March. However, before the A-Series goes official, the brand has dropped two M-Series phones today. Samsung Galaxy M16 and Samsung Galaxy M06 have gone official in India as the all-new budget offerings by the brand. Both the phones are priced under 15,000 and offer 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy M16 & Galaxy M06 5G: Price & Availability

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G comes in three storage configurations-

  • 4GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 12,4999
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 13,999
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 15,499

It will be available in Mint Green, Bluish Pink and Thunder Black shades. The first sale will take place on 5th March at 12 PM IST via Amazon, Samsung website, and offline stores. Samsung is offering Rs. 1000 cashback on Galaxy M16 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M06 5G comes in two storage options-

  • 4GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 9999
  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 11,499

It will be available in Sage Green and Blazing black hues. The first sale will take place on 7th March at 12 PM IST via Amazon, Samsung website, and offline stores. Samsung is offering Rs. 500 cashback on Galaxy M06 5G.

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G: Specs

The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, eye-care shield, and vision booster. The smartphone runs One UI and is promised 6 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

At the back, it features a 50MP main, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooter. There is a 13MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, there is a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging and additional features include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Samsung Wallet with tap and pay, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and GPS. Galaxy M16 5G measures 164.4×77.9×7.9mm and weighs 192 grams.

Samsung Galaxy M06 5G flaunts a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1600×720 pixel resolution. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone runs Android 15 based One UI and gets 4 years of OS and security updates. In terms of camera, there is a 50MP main, and a 2MP depth shooter at the back. For selfies there is an 8MP shooter at the front. Under the hood, it gets a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging speed. Additional features include side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS. Galaxy M06 5G measures 167.4×77.4x8mm and weighs 191 grams.

While Samsung Galaxy M16 5G aims to compete with the likes of Realme 14x, Vivo T3x, and Poco M7 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M06 5G will give a stiff competition to Redmi A4 5G, Infinix Hot 50 and Moto G35.
