Leading smartphone maker Samsung has officially announced the upcoming release of the Galaxy M36 5G in India. A dedicated page for the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G is now available on Amazon, featuring a teaser image that showcases the design of the phone’s back. Although the exact launch date has not yet been revealed, this announcement follows the recent appearance of the Galaxy M36 on the Samsung India website. Additionally, it was spotted on Geekbench, which disclosed some of its specifications. In addition to the Samsung Galaxy M36, the Galaxy F36 has also been identified on several benchmarking platforms.

Samsung Galaxy M36: India Launch

Samsung has announced the arrival of the Galaxy M36 in India by releasing a teaser on the e-commerce platform Amazon. The teaser image displayed on Amazon reveals the design of the back camera along with the tagline “Monster Alcon.” By emphasizing AI, the company is showcasing the device’s artificial intelligence features this time around. The back of the phone features three vertically aligned cameras, and the design shows some differences compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy M35.

Samsung Galaxy M36 5G: Features (expected & confirmed)

The Geekbench listing verifies that the Galaxy M36 will utilize the Exynos 1380 chipset, which is disappointing since its predecessor also featured the same SoC. The updates for the Galaxy M36 will primarily focus on AI enhancements. The device achieved a score of 1004 points in the single-core test and 2886 points in the multi-core test. Additionally, the listing confirms that it will come with 6GB of RAM and One UI 7 based on Android 15 right out of the box. While other details remain undisclosed, we anticipate receiving more information soon, as Samsung is expected to announce the launch date in the upcoming week.

The smartphone will cost around 20,000 INR, as its predecessor also had a starting price of Rs. 19,999.

It is confirmed to be equipped with the Exynos 1380 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and a display boasting a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The smartphone will operate on Android 15 with One UI 7.
