Samsung Galaxy S24 Series is expected to launch globally in 2024. The flagship series will most probably include the same 3 devices- Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. 2023 launched Galaxy S23 Series also had these 3 same devices- Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Now, some reports reveal key specs about the Galaxy S24 Series. Read on to know more.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Expected specs

The topmost model, Galaxy S24 Ultra might feature a display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This will be a bump up from its predecessor Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be the first Samsung device to have a 144Hz display which will give smoother gaming and animation. The entire series will have Super AMOLED panels though the refresh rate for the other two models will be 120Hz.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Expected specs

All 3 models are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and have UFS 4.1 storage. They might boot Android 14-based One UI 6.0 and the primary camera will be 200MP for some of the models.

Samsung is reportedly working on including satellite connectivity with the Galaxy S24 Series. This was earlier hinted at by TM Roh, president and head of Samsung’s mobile experience business who claimed that the company might soon bring the feature to its devices.

“While there is the right timing, infrastructure, and technology ready, then of course for Samsung Galaxy, for our mobile division we would also actively consider adopting this feature as well.”

A report by Sam Mobile claims that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra with 2 way satellite connectivity for calling and texting in conditions where conventional cellular signals aren’t available.

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series is still almost 9-10 months away, so for now all this information should be taken with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, stay tuned to this space for all the major updates of the tech world.
